Javier "Javi" Otero

Javi is a dedicated Transition Consultant with nearly a decade of experience in financial services, specializing in transitions consulting, project management, and operations. As the Director of Transitions at Concurrent Investment Advisors, he has successfully guided financial advisors through seamless transitions, including overseeing the movement of over $5 billion in assets in just two months. 

A proud graduate of Florida State University, Javi combines his strong educational foundation with hands-on experience in managing advisor transitions. He currently writes articles for AdvisorHub and the ATS website, sharing his insights on streamlining processes and ensuring a smooth experience for advisors and their teams. Known for his innovative approach and attention to detail, he makes complex transition processes accessible to colleagues and clients alike. Originally from Florida, Javi now calls Durham, NC, home. 

When he’s not helping advisors navigate transitions, he enjoys traveling with his wife, baby daughter, and two dogs. A passionate baseball fan, Javi is on a mission to visit all 30 MLB stadiums and is already halfway there. Whether collaborating on a new initiative or sharing stories from his travels, Javi values building connections and creating memorable experiences.
