Grier Rubeling

Owner/Operator

Grier Rubeling is the founder, owner, and operator of Advisor Transition Services. She brings nearly two decades of financial services experience to ATS, where she works closely with advisors and firms to consult on the many moving parts of transitions. Over the years, she has developed comprehensive resources and built a team of experienced professionals to assist with the process.

A proud graduate of Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) with a degree in Marketing, Grier began her career as a Client Services Associate at Smith Barney in Baltimore. She later became the branch transition consultant at UBS, assisting with new acquisitions. After moving to North Carolina, she left the wirehouse world to assist a team of advisors with starting an RIA and served as the Director of Operations for that establishment for several years. She launched Advisor Transition Services in 2018 after recognizing a need in the market for transition assistance.

Grier lives in Cary, NC with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys reading, woodworking, crafting, creating edible art, sports, and delicious craft beer. An accomplished artist, she competes in the National Gingerbread House Competition every year and has been featured on the Food Network twice. She also runs a blog called The Craft Crib, showcasing her DIY tutorials. Grier values building connections and is an enthusiastic advocate for individuals pursuing entrepreneurship and living their best lives.
